Take a step from where you are to where you want to be.

"We must not rest in our personal development--development that is emotional and spiritual as well as mental. There is so much to learn and so little time in which to learn it."

Will you be doing any new classes in 2010?

The online Time Out Life Seminars is currently in "summer" school while we take time to develop the existing classes into a DVD product line. We hope to continue creating new classes at some point this year and will update the progress via the website. In the meantime, we invite you to participate in the existing 2009 classes. All classes are available and in session, but the presenter Q&A is no longer active.

How can I access the one FREE session?

All REGISTERED USERS on TimeOutSeminars.com will be able to view Sheri Dew’s first session, “Righteous Women Can Change the World”, for FREE! To become a registered user, create an account or log in using your Deseret Book account here. This will not sign you up for any classes or obligation, but will simply allow you to access the FREE session.

This will open your account page. Sheri Dew’s class will open on the screen. Move your eyes down the screen to the light yellow session overview boxes on the bottom left. Find and click on the “start session” link in the box with the heading “Righteous Women Can Change the World.” Allow the class to load, watch and enjoy!

If you wish to view the rest of Sheri’s class or any other class, you can then sign up for the class by clicking “enroll” in the green semester box.

I've registered. How can I access the sessions?

Upon registration, the "enroll" link to enroll in the classes (found in the green semester box) will change to say "enrolled". The class information box (the light yellow box below the green semester box) will say the date of availability (i.e. "available 01.01.09") at the right of the session description. On the date that the session is set to release, the "available" link will change to say "start session". Click on that link to begin the session. Sessions can be paused and resumed at any time.

What is a semester?

A semester consists of three one-month classes, each from a different faculty member. Semesters run March – May, June – August, and September – November. A semester can be currently purchased at the special introductory offer of $39.99. All semesters are now available.

What is a class?

A class is a one-month period of instruction from a faculty member. Classes are divided into three sessions, each released a week at a time, with the fourth week reserved for additional insights and information from the instructor. (Participants can submit questions throughout the first three weeks and many will be answered during the fourth week.) All classes are now available.

What is a session?

Sessions are designed to be completed in one hour over the course of one week. Participants are given "homework" suggestions to prepare for the next session, which will be released on the following Monday. Each session is designed to be completed at the desired pace of the participant. It can be stopped and resumed at any time during the week or any subsequent week for two months from the release of the first session. No session can be viewed prior to its Monday release. All sessions are now available.

Information below refers to active classes.

What time to the sessions begin?

Upon the date of release, the session is available to all subscribers 24 hours a day. There is no time limit and sessions can be started and stopped at any time. They can also be viewed multiple times for as long as the class is available.

When do the semesters begin?

The first semester begins on the first Monday in March and includes faculty members Sheri Dew, Wendy Watson Nelson, and S. Michael Wilcox. The second semester began in June and includes Camille Fronk Olson, John Bytheway, and Ardeth Kapp. The thire semester will begin in September and will include Virginia Hinckley Pearce, Richard Holzapfel, and Sheri Dew. See the semester schedule for more information.

When can I access a session?
Each Monday, for the first three Mondays, a session is released from that month’s faculty member. The following is the scheduled release for each session: First Monday – Session 1, Second Monday – Session 2, Third Monday – Session 3. The fourth Monday is reserved for additional insights from the faculty member.

How can I connect with the other women in my class?

There is a chat feature built into each session. When you are logged into a session, you are able to chat with all other members logged in to that same session.

Can I get access to this material anywhere else?

Semester 1 classes feature content that is not currently available anywhere else. Future faculty may offer classes in conjunction with published material. Check back for updates.

Can I take the class with my friends?
Absolutely. If you sign up for the same class or semester, you can coordinate your schedules to log into the same sessions at the same time. You can then “chat” with each other and other members online using the chat feature. You can share insight, ask questions and learn from each other.

Are refunds available?
Refunds are not available following the purchase of any Time Out Life Seminar semester or class. There are no exceptions.
