Sheri Dew

 
Sheri Dew is a native of Ulysses, Kansas, and a graduate of Brigham Young University.  She has authored several books, including the biographies of two presidents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Presidents Gordon B. Hinckley and Ezra Taft Benson. Her most recent books are God Wants a Powerful People and Saying It Like It Is. Sheri was named the president and CEO of Deseret Book Company in March 2002. She also serves as a member of both the BYU Marriott School of Management’s National Advisory Council and the President’s Leadership Council for BYU-Hawaii. In March 2003 the White House appointed her as a member of the U.S. Delegation to the Commission on the Status of Women and Girls at the United Nations.   
 
 

                                                                                                               

                                                                     
 
Wendy Watson Nelson

 
Dr. Wendy Watson Nelson holds a Ph.D. in marriage and family therapy and gerontology and was a professor of marriage and family therapy in the School of Family Life at Brigham Young University for 13 years, where she taught master’s and doctoral students. While there, she chaired the 1999 and 2000 BYU Women’s Conferences. Prior to her tenure at BYU, Dr. Watson Nelson taught graduate students at the University of Calgary, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, for 2 years. Dr. Watson Nelson worked as a marriage and family therapist for more than 30 years, and spent over 25 years teaching, researching, writing, supervising, and consulting in the field of marriage and family therapy, both nationally and internationally. She co-authored a book for health care professionals called Beliefs: The Heart of Healing in Families and Illness. She has also authored several books and talks on CD for Deseret Book, including Purity and Passion: Spiritual Truths about Intimacy That Will Strengthen Your Marriage. She lives with her husband, Elder Russell M. Nelson, in North Salt Lake, Utah.
 
 
                                                       
    
                                                          
 
S. Michael Wilcox

 
S. Michael Wilcox is an instructor at the institute of religion adjacent to the University of Utah. A frequent speaker at Brigham Young University Education Week, Michael also conducts tours of the Holy Land, Church history sites, Europe, China, and Central America. He received a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Brigham Young University, a master’s in media from the University of Arizona, and his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado in educational philosophy. He is the author of House of Glory and When Your Prayers Seem Unanswered. Michael and his wife, Laura, are the parents of five children and live in Draper, Utah.

Camille Fronk Olson

 
Camille Fronk Olson is an associate professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University and a former dean of students at LDS Business College. She has served on the Young Women General Board and the Teacher Development Curriculum Committee of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A popular speaker as well as writer, Camille is the author of In the Hands of the Potter; Mary, Martha, and Me; Too Much to Carry Alone, and the upcoming Women of the Old Testament. She and her husband, Paul, reside in Provo, Utah.
 
 
  
     
                                                          
 
John Bytheway

 
John Bytheway is a bestselling author, favorite speaker, and part-time instructor at BYU.  His titles include Heroes: Lessons from the Book of Mormon, Standards Night Live, Isaiah for Airheads, A Crash Course in Teenage Survival, and his most recent book Behind Every Good Man. John served a mission to the Philippines and holds a master’s degree in Religious Education. Ardeth G. Kapp

 
Ardeth Greene Kapp, author and lecturer, has served as general president of the Church’s Young Women organization from 1984 to 1992. She served with her husband, Heber B. Kapp, as he presided over the Canada Vancouver Mission from 1992-1995, and later they were president and matron of the Cardston Alberta Temple. Ardeth holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and a master’s in curriculum development from Brigham Young University. She has been a member of the Church Curriculum Planning Committee, as well as a board member of the Church Educational System, Deseret Book Company, the Deseret News Publishing Company, and the board of trustees for Southern Virginia University. A native of Glenwood, Alberta, Canada, Ardeth is the author of Better Than You Think You Are.

Virginia Hinckley Pearce

 
Virginia H. Pearce, second daughter of President Gordon B. Hinckley and Marjorie Pay Hinckley, holds a master's degree in social work. She is a member of the Deseret Book board of directors, a former counselor in the Young Women general presidency, and has served on the Primary general board. She is the author of several books, the most recent of which is A Heart Like His. She is married to James R. Pearce. They are the parents of six and the grandparents of twenty-five.
 
 
   
                                                    
                                                            
 
Brad Wilcox

 
Brad Wilcox grew up in Provo, Utah, except for childhood years spent in Ethiopia, Africa. As a young man, he served a mission for the Church in Chile. Brad earned a Ph.D. from the University of Wyoming and is now an associate professor in the department of Teacher Education at BYU. Brad and his wife, Debi, lived at one time in New Zealand, where Brad directed a Study Abroad program for Brigham Young University. They most recently lived in Santiago, Chile, where Brad served as a mission president of the Chile Santiago East Mission from 2003-2006. Brad and Debi are the parents of four children and reside in Provo, Utah.
 
 
   
                                                     
                                                         
 
Richard Holzapfel

 
Richard Neitzel Holzapfel, professor of Church history and doctrine and Publication Director for the Religious Studies Center at BYU. He received a B.A. from Brigham Young University, and completed graduate studies in Jewish history at Hebrew Union College and earned a Ph.D. in ancient history at the University of California, Irvine. He has published many articles and essays on LDS and ancient history in academic and Church oriented publications. He is the coauthor of several books and articles, including Jesus Christ and the World of the New Testament and most recently, Jehovah and the World of the Old Testament. He and his wife, Jeni Broberg Holzapfel, have five children and two grandchildren and reside in Springville, UT.
